Happy Monday babes!
Hope you all had a great weekend! I had the most amazing day yesterday. I love love love visiting The Met. It’s my favorite museum and I love just wandering from room to room and soaking up some culture! After my museum visit, I spent a few hours walking around Central Park. To sum it up, my Sunday was PERFECT!! How was your weekend?
To start off a another beautiful week, let’s take a look at a breathtaking wedding! Christine and Ryan were married on October 19th, 2013 at the Stamford Yacht Club in Connecticut.
They were married on a beautiful fall day, but along the shore it could be spring or summer because the trees don’t change. We shot their portraits at Ryan’s parents’ home right on the Long Island Sound, and after a Greek ceremony, they celebrated with friends and family at the Stamford Yacht Club. What makes this wedding unique is the time the bride’s mom put into making each of their unique reception details; from the hand-stamped burlap to the Jordan Almonds seating chart to the framed table numbers, as well as the champagne table. The bride’s brother made the couple a beautiful piece of wood with a painting of a bride and groom that acted as signage to let guests know they were in the right place. Besides all the details, I was in love with the bride’s choice for veil. On a cloudy day, it really stood out and brought attention to her face, which, as most brides, displayed a range of emotions throughout the day.
This wedding provides sooo much wedding decor inspiration! I love it!
Congrats to Christine and Ryan on their breathtaking elegant wedding!
