I LOVE Indian weddings. I have been to quite a few myself. They are colorful, steeped in tradition, exciting, fun, and all around wonderful. IQphoto Studio also happens to be one of my favorite wedding photographers. So once I see their name pop up, I know it’s going to be a good one!
Nadia and Ankush were married on August 17, 2013 in an elegant and traditional Indian wedding. Nadia’s mehndi looked so beautiful and Ankush looked like he was having the time of his life during the baraat. Just in case you’ve never been to an Indian wedding or don’t know much about Indian wedding traditions, the baraat is one of my FAVE parts of the wedding. It’s the groom’s processional as he is joined by his family and friends to be welcomed by the bride’s family and friends. There’s LOADS of dancing, music, singing, and good wishes along the way. It’s so much fun and everyone should hope to experience it at least once!
I loved how Nadia and Ankush infused old traditional with modern ones. Beautifully done.
Congrats to Nadia and Ankush and I can honestly say that I wish I was there. Thank you to IQphoto Studio yet again for capturing and sharing the memories of this amazing wedding with us!
Enjoy the weekend love!
