The weekend is almost here. I’m impatiently waiting for it myself!
As soon as I saw this wedding, I knew it was major. This wedding is everything. It’s relaxed, fun, quirky, personalized with DIY, and overall simply beautiful. I loved the whole relaxed backyard setting. I especially loved the fun and quirkiness elements. (How awesome is a bride wearing sneakers with the word “bride” embroidered into it?!)
I think hosting a wedding at one’s house is a great idea and honestly, it’s a bit unique. I guess living in NYC, most people aren’t able to get married in their apartments. (Unless you’re Beyonce and Jay Z of course).
I think getting married at home and especially incorporating a lot of DIY is as personalized at you can get. And I love it!
The bride looked absolutely amazing in her dress and I especially loved the pink belt with flowers around her waist. Pink is my favorite color so I thought it was such a lovely touch of personality to the traditional white dress.
Kellie and Dylan were married on August 03, 2013 in a gorgeous backyard wedding. A wedding planned and organized by the friends and family that love you? It doesn’t get anymore perfect than that!
Some more charming details from our photographer, Stevi Sayler Photography…..
This wedding was one of the most relaxed, lovely and completely perfect weddings I have had the pleasure to photograph. Neither the bride nor the groom seemed to be nervous in the least, there was nothing but love and excitement throughout the entire day. All the family and friends kept saying how perfect there were together and how this is the couple that will make it!
The day was largely organized by a family who is very near and dear to the couple, the Neciuk family. I was incredibly amazed and impressed by the details and the well thought out plan. This family came through with flying colors to bring together the perfect fairytale wedding for Kellie and Dylan.
Cute signage, a pie buffet, flowers in mason jars and lanterns covered the property to make for a unique and adorable surrounding. A light salad was provided for those who hadn’t had dinner, but for a majority of the crowd, after a 6:30pm wedding pie and lemonade was the perfect way to fuel a night of dancing and fun! Ending in a sparkler exit, oh my! 🙂
Congrats to our newlyweds and thank you to Stevi Sayler Photography for sharing this with us!
