Happy Monday loves!!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I enjoyed some much needed relaxation and some good family time. I am fully energized for this upcoming week!
Let’s get started!
I’m totally obsessing over today’s wedding! It’s glam, chic, modern, and filled with beautiful Jewish tradition. Aviva and Gaal were married on January 19th, 2014 at the Casa Marina Resort in Florida. It was truly an affair to remember. Here’s some more romantic details from our bride….
Describe your wedding……
- Gaal and I wanted our friends and family to enjoy a long weekend in the warmth and sun, so when we decided on doing a destination wedding in Florida, the Casa Marina in Key West was our first and only choice. We fell in love with the beautiful architecture and neutral pallet that the ballrooms provided – and the gorgeous ocean views (especially at sunset) sealed the deal! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect; we lucked out with absolutely amazing weather. We kept the décor neutral and classic with ivory linens and rose petal table runners. We tied in the local beauty of Key West by using tropical inspired flowers for the centerpieces. We could not be more grateful for all of the amazing work that our wedding vendors did for us – capturing each moment and keeping the day running smoothly, we did not have to worry about a thing! We feel so fortunate that we were able to have such an amazing wedding weekend and love looking at our pictures and watching our video to relive the remarkable day we shared together with our loved ones!
How did you meet?
- Gaal and I met in high school in yearbook class, Gaal was a junior and I was a sophomore (who didn’t even have a drivers license). What started out as silly dates to the movies and fun nights just hanging out together blossomed into a true loving relationship. While most would say that at such a young age there is no way we could have been “in love,” Gaal and I developed a strong and meaningful bond early on. We went to college together at the University of Michigan; each finding our way individually while growing stronger together as a couple. After college we moved to Boston – Gaal was working and I started law school. Before I graduated, Gaal moved to New York for work, and I couldn’t wait to be done with school and join him! During my second year of law school and after 8 years together, Gaal proposed and we started planning our dream wedding in Key West, Florida! In 2013, I graduated from Boston University School of Law, and joined Gaal in New York City, where we both work. We had our wedding on January 19th, 2014 surrounded by all of our friends and family; it was the most amazing weekend of our lives! For us, each day together is a new adventure where we fall more and more in love. We are excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to explore it as husband and wife!
Sending huge congrats to theses two love birds! Wishing you all a great week!
