Hello darlings! Everyone be sure to go follow me on Instagram and Twitter @melissawedding!! Once you have done that, lets look at this lovely Southern Elegant Plantation Wedding!!
Troy and Sarah had their southern elegant plantation wedding on October 24, 2015 at the Plantation Hall at Haile in Florida. This outdoor wedding was beautiful and classy! I love the pop of bright colors in the bouquets!! The flower girl is precious with her little sign! They added fall themed details throughout the wedding and it perfectly fit their October wedding! Now here is a little more from their photographer…
Sarah McDonald and Troy Kelley tied the knot in Gainesville, Florida during their October wedding at Plantation Hall. The two initially met in high school when they both began working at Publix. Over the years they became the best of friends and enjoyed hanging out during work. Unfortunately they lost touch after Sarah left Publix to pursue a new position. Years later they ran into one another while at the gym and started talking again. As Sarah put it, “one thing led to another and eventually we were talking and seeing each other daily until finally he asked me to be his girlfriend on October 24, 2008.” October 24th is such a special day for the two and just happens to have been the date of their wedding. After dating for several years, the two found out that they were expecting. Their incredible smart and adorable daughter Aubrey brought them even closer as a couple and with their first year of parenthood locked down, it was time to start wedding planning! The two envisioned a Fall themed wedding filled with hues of orange, green, and navy. Their ceremony took place underneath 20 year old oak trees that encircled a beautiful fountain. Incorporated into their vows was how much the two love one another and their family.Sarah loves how Troy can truly fix almost anything and is an incredible father to their daughter Aubrey. She loves how he supports her, whether it is late nights studying or long classes for nursing school, he is always there to push her forward and help her through the tough times. Troy, as Sarah puts it is her “superman!” Troy loves how Sarah is truly beautiful inside and out from her gorgeous eyes to the way she makes him laugh. She completes him and is his “superwoman.”Their sweet ceremony ended with a sand pouring of their favorite team’s colors blue and orange. With “I do’s” said and a kiss shared, we were off to family portraits. Against the Plantation Hall building is a beautiful landscaped vine wall. Just a short walk from the ceremony location, we were able to accommodate grandpas, grandmas, family, and friends. Sarah’s bridesmaids had me laughing during their bridal party portraits when they reenacted the cover of “Bridesmaids.”The reception was filled with toasts from siblings, best friends, uncles, fathers, and mothers who wanted to share memories of how the two met and how much they love them both. The the most incredible toast for me was Sarah’s maid of honor Rachel who brought tears to the faces of every guest as she reminisced about their friendship. The night ended with dancing and a sparkler send off as the two said their goodbyes to loved ones. Wishing my sweet family and incredible life together!
Congrats to Troy and Sarah!!
